Lascelles Productions was established in 1988. Our Mission: to develop and to publish friendly, useful, up-to-date, educational software, especially targeting the key areas of literacy and numeracy. We aim at teach those difficult basic skills which children often miss in early school when they learn to read, and which are of concern to parents; skills such as phonics awareness and basic literacy skills. Children who have special learning needs such as for dylexia, and ESL students, require specialist educational software, which helps them with remedial reading and spelling.
Our Experience: We have been developers and publishers of K-12 educational software since the mid-1980s. Our first title was distributed in North America, Australia and New Zealand in 1988. Our titles have been individually customized for the educational requirements of the differing curriculums of the U.S.A., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the U.K. National Curriculum.
Our Titles: Our phonics software, Word Construction Set, a newly-released phonics word-builder, and The Connoisseur Fine Art Collection - for MS Windows - were previously released in the early 1990s for the Amiga platform. We became widely known in Europe in the early 1990s with the release of the CDTV title The Connoisseur Fine Art Collection. We aim to release many of our popular titles, such as Back to Basics and Say 'n Spell for the MS Windows operating system over the next 2-3 years.
