The Vista Operating System does not include many files commonly used by popular software developing applications. And like most other software created in the past 10 years, special steps must be taken to ensure that software is able to run under Vista.
Word Construction Set relies of two files which Vista does not recognise, even though we have automatically installed them into your c:\windows\system32 folder, when you install from our CD-ROM.
These two files are:
MCI32.OCX and COMDLG32.OCX
Once you have installed Word Construction Set from the CD-ROM, you will need to take the following steps:
1. Copy each of these two files from this page and SAVE them to the c:\windows\system32 folder
2. Find the RUN item on theSTART icon.
3. In the space provided, type: CMD. (This reveals the DOS command line for entering commands directly to the system.)
4. In the black screen on the flashing cursor, type the following command:
